Main structure of l type single girder gantry crane
L type single girder gantry crane is a kind of popular crane with wide application. It mainly includes four parts, main girder, end girder or ground girder, trolley and electric device. L type has two supporting legs. The crane frame is the main supporting structure, it includes box type main girder, end girder, walking board, handrail and cabin. The trolley travels on the crane frame. The trolley is a strong structure welded by steel structure. The main lifting device and assistant lifting device and trolley travelling device are on the structure. Crane travelling mechanism is on the walking board. Main lifting hook and assistant lifting hook are at the same level from side view. Electric motor is placed on walking board and in cabin. The power is introduced to main switch by special conductive mechanism.
Lifting mechanism is composed of electric motor, reducer, drum, wire rope, trolley group and lifting hook. Driven by the power of electric motor, the lifting hook ups and downs as well as the material ups and downs. There are two protection device on the lifting extreme position. The crane adopts PU buffer. When the brake device doesn’t work, material should down at the controlling speed. Lifting mechanism adopts hydraulic push rod brake. Trolley travelling mechanism and crane travelling mechanism is composed of electric motor, reducer, coupling and wheel group. The power from electric motor drive the wheel group rotate from two directions through reducer and coupling, so that the trolley and crane can transport from one place to another place.
To ensure the crane good condition and anywhere positioning, every mechanism is equipped with safety device, for example, high-speed shaft of electric motor and reducer is installed with brake device, and it is composed of brake and braking wheel shaft. The brake is long-close type, when the power is on, the brake shoe opens, the power is off, the brake shoe closes.
